Vote for your favourite: Burlington’s Movies under the Stars

Movies run July 6 to Aug. 17

Voting is now open for this year’s Movies under the Stars. Running every Thursday night between July 6 and Aug. 17, Movies under the Stars will present a new film each week in a different City of Burlington park.

An online poll for each park hosting a movie will be posted every week and open for seven days. Voters can choose from three movie titles.

The first poll is open now. Residents can choose from the following titles for Nelson Park July 6:

Residents can vote on Twitter @BurlEvents or through the City of Burlington’s website at www.burlington.ca/movies.

All movies start at 9 p.m.

Some important things to note:

  • Bring your own lawn chairs and/or blanket.
  • Be sure to come early and reserve a spot.
  • Parking and restroom facilities are available on site.
  • Inclement weather may cause delays or cancellations. Please check the weather before heading out.

The Burlington Events Twitter account – @BurlEvents – will tweet out a confirmation that the movie is showing by 3 p.m. on the scheduled movie date.
