Moon in June Road Race/Lane closures

Moon in June Road ClosuresThis year is the 25th annual Moon in June Road Race that will be taking place on Saturday, June 4. The kids race will be one kilometre and begin at 6:30 p.m., with 5k and 10k races to start at 8p.m.

The races will result in the following road and lane closures in Burlington:

  • James Street between John Street and Brant Street will be closed to traffic between 4:30 and 11:30 p.m.
  • Brant Street between Ontario Street and Elgin Street will be closed to traffic between 5 and 11 p.m.
  • Brant Street between Caroline Street and Lakeshore Road will be closed to traffic between 6 and 11 p.m.

Traffic lane closures:

Lakeshore Road, John Street to Brant Street and John Street to Pine Street between 6 and 7 p.m., southbound Brant Street between Baldwin and Caroline
