Public meeting June 11 to receive information report on 53-71 Plains Road East, 1025 Cooke Boulevard (no recommendation or decision)

Council will receive an information report at a public meeting June 11 at 6:30pm at City Hall regarding an Official Plan  and Zoning Bylaw Amendment for 53-71 Plains Road East and 1025 Cooke Boulevard. Currently part of the site is vacant, the other part is occupied by Solid Gold strip club. The application proposes two mixed-use, mid-rise buildings of 10 and 12 storeys with retail and service commercial uses at grade and 450 residential units above. Residents can attend and speak at the meeting. No preregistration is required.
