A Better Burlington is an online community forum for residents like you: people who care about your community and want to debate ideas, share stories, find resources and get involved in your own way, on your own time, to make our city better.

The site was launched in June 2009 by downtown Burlington resident Marianne Meed Ward,  a broadcaster, journalist, and communications consultant who writes a weekly column in the Toronto Sun on life in the “905.”

You’ll find a weekly blog on community issues, profiles of local residents and businesses who are making our city better, and an opportunity to comment. For people who aren’t wired, the site’s best content is printed in a monthly newsletter, available on request.

So dive in: enter the conversation, tell us what’s happening in your area, give us a piece of your mind, send us your idea to make Burlington better, and spread the word. By joining together, we can preserve the best of our city as we grow into the future.
