I lived at the Burlington waterfront (1211 Bellview St) for 6 years and without a doubt the best thing about living there was the waterfront access. I am a runner and that is my favourite route. I visit there regularly still with my 3 children to go for walks because it is the best place to go in Burlington. If it was blocked by with a whole bunch of buildings this would not only make my family extremely sad but it would seriously deteriorate the atmosphere in the downtown core.
Thank you for your serious consideration.

Excellent backgrounder on the situation, Marianne. Really looking forward to tomorrow night's meeting. I'm trying to rally the troops via momstown.ca (excellent network of moms in the city).
